Ujjayini Brawley , MPS

Ujjayini Brawley has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Ujjayini currently serves as the Owner and Business Consultant at Shakti Creates LLC, where they design and implements mindfulness leadership development strategies for small business owners and organizations. Ujjayini also provides subject matter expertise to various organizations and conducts workshops on mindfulness strategies for facilitating conversations on diversity, equity, and inclusion.

In 2022, Ujjayini joined AIIR Consulting as a Client Success Manager, where they focus on ensuring client satisfaction and success.

From 2020 to 2022, Ujjayini worked at The Lindsay Group Co. as the Director of Learning and Development and Principal Consultant. In this role, they created and facilitated DEI virtual training and workshops for large leadership consultant firms. Ujjayini also conducted needs assessments and developed hiring procedures for managerial and consultant staff.

As a Consultant Intern at Conducere LLC in 2020, Ujjayini conducted organizational and market analysis, led focus groups, and developed marketing strategies to promote a diverse and inclusive organizational culture. Ujjayini also applied for grants and awards for external funding.

Ujjayini volunteered as a Candidate Assessor for Jefferson County in 2020, assessing civil service candidates.

Prior to their consulting roles, Ujjayini gained experience in various industries. Ujjayini worked as an Assistant Manager in the Health & Wellness Department at MOM's Organic Market from 2017 to 2019, managing products, training programs, and a team of staff. Ujjayini also served as a Program Facilitator at Alternative Paths Training School from 2012 to 2015.

Ujjayini's earlier experience includes positions such as a Management Support Assistant at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development from 2009 to 2012, a Program Development Coordinator at the University of Maryland in 2008, and a Data Clerk at the U.S. Department of Justice in 2008.

Ujjayini Brawley, MPS has a diverse education history. In 2020-2021, Ujjayini attended the University of Maryland, where they obtained a Master of Professional Studies degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Prior to this, from 2009-2011, they also studied at the University of Maryland, earning a degree in Psychology with a focus on Human Development.

In addition to their university education, Ujjayini attended Prince George's Community College. From 2005-2009, they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Psychology. Later, in 2017-2018, Ujjayini pursued studies in Fine/Studio Arts, General at the same college.

Ujjayini has also earned various certifications throughout their career. Notably, in 2022, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from MF Treinamentos. Additionally, in 2017, Ujjayini completed Graduate Business Courses offered by Empowered Women International, a program of the Latino Economic Development Center. They also possess a Maryland Certifies Food Service Manager License, obtained through ServSafe Food Protection Manager Instructor training. Furthermore, Ujjayini is a Microenterprise Graduate from Crossroads Community Food Network.
