Emma Nettles has diverse work experience in various roles. Emma started their career in 2016 as a Research Assistant at Northern Arizona University. In 2016, they also worked as a Laboratory Manager and Research Assistant at the University of South Carolina-Aiken. Emma continued their role as Laboratory Manager until 2017. From 2018 to 2021, Emma worked as a Receptionist at Powderhouse Pet Resort. In 2020, they joined the University of South Carolina Aiken as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and then became a Career Mentor in 2021. Currently, they are working as a Mental Health Professional at Aiken Barnwell Mental Health since September 2022.
Emma Nettles has a strong educational background in psychology and applied psychology. Emma obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of South Carolina Aiken, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Following their undergraduate studies, Emma pursued further education and completed a Master of Science in Clinical, Counseling and Applied Psychology from the same institution from 2020 to 2022. In addition to their degrees, Emma also holds a certification in Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) obtained in November 2015, from the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative.
