Gabriele Giordana

Mission Autonomy Engineer at AIKO - Autonomous Space Missions

Gabriele Giordana has been working in the field of autonomous space missions since 2020. Gabriele began their career at AIKO as a Mission Autonomy Engineer and an Intern in the context of MPM for Space Sciences Master. In 2014, they worked at Irion as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, Business Analyst, and Product Specialist. Gabriele also completed an internship at Aviospace Srl, where they worked on mechanical modeling such as orbiting bodies, behaviour of connected bodies, docking mechanics and robotic arm control and chasing algorithms.

Gabriele Giordana has a comprehensive educational background. In 2009, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the Università degli Studi di Torino. Gabriele then went on to receive a Master's degree in Mathematics from the same institution in 2012-2014. In 2019-2020, they completed a Corso di Master Universitario di 2° livello-CMU2 in Mathematical and Physical Methods for Space Sciences from the Università degli Studi di Torino. Additionally, Gabriele has obtained several certifications, including an Algorithms specialization from Coursera in 2020, a Machine Learning course from Coursera in 2020, a Certificazione Base di Project Management - ISIPM from the Istituto Italiano di Project Management - ISIPM in 2016, and a BLSD - Basic Life Support and Defibrillation from the Italian Resuscitation Council - IRC in 2015.
