Alan Bye

Alan Bye serves as the Managing Director of Imvelo Pty Ltd since September 2019 and is a Non-Executive Director at Ideon Technologies and Orexplore Technologies. Involved with the Critical Minerals Independent Advisory Panel under the Department of Industry, Science and Resources, Alan also contributes to CSIRO's Minerals Resources Flagship Advisory Council. Alan held the position of Professor and Director of Critical Minerals at Curtin University until May 2023 and was a Non-Executive Director for Swick Mining Services Ltd and Scitech. With an extensive educational background including a PhD in Mining from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Alan Bye has a strong focus on innovative solutions in the mining and resources sectors.
