Craig S. Smith

Craig S. Smith is a seasoned executive in the hospitality industry, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Aimbridge Hospitality since March 2024. Prior to this role, Smith spent over 35 years at Marriott International, where Craig S. held various leadership positions, culminating as Group President and Managing Director of the International Division. In this capacity, Smith managed over 2,500 hotels across 136 countries, led a workforce of more than 230,000 associates, and oversaw significant growth initiatives that contributed to $23 billion in sales. Smith's extensive experience also includes serving as President and Managing Director for the Asia Pacific and Caribbean & Latin America regions, as well as various other strategic roles within Marriott. Smith holds a Bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University, an MBA from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management, and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. Additionally, Smith earned a Global Executive MBA from the University of St.Gallen.
