Sharyn Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the influencer marketing and digital media sectors. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Audited Media Association of Australia and Chair of the Guiding Council for the Australian Influencer Marketing Council, Sharyn co-founded and holds the position of Executive Director at The Influence Group and Social Soup, both of which focus on building influence capability and pioneering influencer marketplaces. Additional roles include Co-Founder and Non-Executive Director at Pollinate, where Sharyn has driven significant growth and innovation in research techniques, and previous positions as a Senior Consultant at Inflexion, a Senior Digital Business Manager, and a Business Analyst at emap. Sharyn's academic background includes a Bachelor of Business (Honors) degree in Communications/Advertising from Queensland University of Technology and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Laser and Optical Engineering from Macquarie University.

AiMCO – Australian Influencer Marketing Council
The Australian Influencer Marketing Council (AIMCO) was formed by experts from across the influencer marketing community providing leadership to guide the industry on best practice in order to establish a baseline of accepted practices when engaging in influencer marketing. AIMCO is an alliance of Australian companies engaged in influencer marketing working together to elevate best practice in order to address industry trust and transparency issues. Its aim is to foster a united voice of industry professionals to provide guidance and knowledge to this thriving marketing sector. AIMCO was formed by the Audited Media Association of Australia (AMAA), a not-for-profit industry association, in September 2019.
