Andrew Steer

Andrew Steer is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Director and Head of Internal Communications at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) since August 2022. Previously, Andrew held various strategic communication roles, including Director of Communications for Global Marketing, Analytics & Global Technology at Manulife, and Director of Knowledge Management & Frontline Communications at Rogers Communications. Andrew's expertise encompasses driving customer experience communications, knowledge management strategies, and enhancing employee engagement through effective communication initiatives. In earlier roles, Andrew contributed to client portals at RBC Investor & Treasury Services, developed content strategies, and led operational communications at Rogers. Andrew is recognized for earning several awards for technical communications and holds a BA in Communications Studies with a specialization in Public Relations from Concordia University.
