Bruce Liu

Bruce Liu, FRM, currently serves as a Senior Analyst in Market Risk Modelling at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) since January 2023. Prior to this role, Bruce held positions as a Senior Quantitative Analyst and Quantitative Analyst in Non-Retail Model Validation at TD from May 2021 to January 2023. Bruce also worked as an Analyst in Market Risk Modelling at AIMCo from June 2020 to May 2021 and completed an internship in Risk Policy & Analysis at the Ontario Financing Authority in 2019. Bruce began the professional journey as an Economics Teaching Assistant at Wilfrid Laurier University while pursuing a Master of Arts in Business Economics, after earning an Honours Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Applications in Economics and Finance from the University of Toronto. Bruce also participated as an Ontario Visiting Graduate Student at the University of Waterloo in 2019. Additional experience includes officiating soccer matches for the Richmond Hill Soccer Club between 2013 and 2016.
