David X.

David X. is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Senior Manager of Investment Risk Assurance at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) since 2023. Prior to this role, David held various positions at ATB Financial from 2019 to 2023, including Senior Manager of External Reporting and Complex Accounting as well as Finance Specialist in External Reporting. David also worked at the City of Calgary from 2017 to 2019 as a Portfolio Manager on secondment and Financial Reporting Consultant. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Staff Auditor at the Office of the Auditor General of Alberta from 2014 to 2017 and as a Revenue Co-op Student at Alberta Health Services in 2012 to 2013. David holds a degree from the University of Calgary.
