Emily S. currently serves as the Senior Manager, Global HR Business Partner at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) since July 2023. Previously, Emily held multiple senior HR roles at Fiera Capital from August 2019 to July 2023, including Senior HR Business Partner Lead for Private Markets. Prior to this, a significant tenure at Scotiabank lasted from September 2006 to August 2019, spanning various positions such as Director, HR Business Partner for Global Capital Markets and Head of Employee Experience & Chief of Staff. Early career experience includes HR roles at TD Canada Trust from 2003 to 2006. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Psychology from Queen's University and a Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from Sheridan College, with additional training in Advanced Workplace Investigation Technique from Rubin Thomlinson LLP scheduled for completion in March 2024.
