Marc Woons serves as the Director of the Innovation Center of Excellence at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) since January 2021, following a distinguished role as Senior Project Manager. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Portfolio Manager and Senior Project Manager within the BC Public Service, as well as an FWO Doctoral Fellow at KU Leuven. Academic credentials include a PhD in Political Philosophy from KU Leuven, multiple master's degrees in Public Administration and Political Science, and a bachelor's degree in Circumpolar Studies from Nord University. Currently, Marc Woons is pursuing a Professional Certification in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Stanford University.
