Mark Yaniw

Mark Yaniw is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management, particularly in the infrastructure and renewable resources sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) since January 2015, Mark is responsible for sourcing and managing global infrastructure investments and holds a board position at Howard Energy Partners. Prior to this, Mark spent over 14 years at Nexen Inc. in various capacities, including Manager of Economics, where responsibilities encompassed investment analysis, valuation, and strategic planning, as well as roles in business development and corporate finance. Mark's early career included positions at RBC and BMO, focusing on personal banking and financial services. Mark holds an MBA from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Alberta.
