Paul Blaha

Paul Blaha, CFA, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Manager of Investment Strategy and Product Management at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) since September 2021. Prior to this role, Paul held the position of Senior Investment Manager for Insurance Investments and Pension Fund at Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) from January 2016 to September 2021. Paul’s earlier experience includes positions as Senior Investment Analyst for Global Asset Allocation and Risk Management Analyst at CIBC Asset Management from May 2007 to December 2015, as well as a role as Database Programmer Specialist at IBM Global Services from September 2005 to May 2007. Paul began a professional career as a Teaching Professional at Beijing Overseas University from September 2004 to September 2005. Paul holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance with a Minor in International Business from Concordia University.
