Matt Hopkins

Matt is responsible for overseeing development, construction, and acquisition activities within the Northeastern United States. Matt joined Aimco in 2016 as the Development Lead for the Mid-Atlantic region and has since delivered on over $500M in residential and commercial development and repositionings in Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C. With over 30 years as a leader in the public policy, marketing, design, and development industry, he has directed almost every aspect of the built environment. Matt has a bachelor’s and graduate architectural degree from The Catholic University of America and is an active member of the American Institute of Architects, the American Institute of Certified Planners, the US Green Building Council, and the Urban Land Institute.
