Antal Rajnak has over 40 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Antal is currently the Co-founder and CEO of Canis Automotive Labs Ltd., a company that develops security and performance technology for automotive systems. Prior to this, they worked as a Subject Matter Expert and Special Consultant to DARPA at the UMD Applied Research Laboratory for Intelligence and Security. From 2017 to 2018, they held the position of VP and GM Automotive at OSR Enterprises GmbH, where they focused on meeting the needs of car OEMs through proprietary platforms.
Earlier in their career, Rajnak worked at Mentor Graphics as Chief Architect, contributing to the development of a simulation tool for security analysis and penetration testing of vehicular networks. Antal also served as Chief Scientist, leading the implementation of novel tools and methodologies for aerospace network design and verification. As Director of the Automotive Networking Business Unit, they played a key role in the company's success.
Rajnak's experience extends beyond the automotive industry. Antal served as VP R&D and Vice Chairman of the Board at Volcano Communications Technologies AG and as CEO, CTO, and member of the Board of Directors at Volcano Communications Technologies AB. Antal was responsible for designing and developing a tool-suite for automotive embedded networks, which was sold globally.
Before working in the automotive industry, Rajnak founded Kimble AB, where they led the development of advanced industrial automation solutions for the garment industry. Prior to that, they worked at Datamönster Development AB, where they served as CTO and led the development of a CAD/CAM solution for the garment industry.
Rajnak's career began at Chalmers University of Technology, where they built and led an organization responsible for developing and operating a large-scale measurement and data acquisition system. Antal also managed scientific collaborations with research institutes in their field in Hungary.
Throughout their career, Rajnak has demonstrated expertise in automotive systems, security analysis, network design, and verification. Their work has resulted in commercially available tools and innovative technologies in the automotive and aerospace industries.
Antal Rajnak's education history includes studying from 1971 to 1976 at Chalmers University of Technology, where they focused on Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Prior to that, from 1968 to 1969, they attended Budapest University of Technology and Economics, specializing in EE. In 1967 to 1968, they studied Naval Electronics at Saint Petersburg State Electrotechnical University "LETI".
In addition to their formal education, Antal Rajnak obtained a certification in Automotive System Development with ISO 26262 course from Impronova in April 2017.
