David Oehler

Dave Oehler currently serves as the Vice President of Academic Affairs at Aims Community College since February 2023. Previously, Dave held the position of Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at Ivy Tech Community College-Indianapolis from January 2022 to October 2022. Prior to that, Dave worked at Metropolitan Community College-Kansas City from July 2014 to January 2022, where roles included Vice President of Instruction and Student Services and Dean of Instruction. Dave's long tenure at Northwest Missouri State University spanned from August 1982 to June 2014, culminating in the role of Chair of Fine and Performing Arts. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from Iowa State University, a Master's Degree in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology from the University of Utah, and a Bachelor's Degree in Speech Teacher Education from Iowa State University.
