Jaap Keuter

Jaap Keuter is a seasoned Senior Software Developer at AimValley since May 2012, specializing in embedded software for telecom and datacom products, including middleware and firmware development for the Smart SFP™ product family. As a Core Developer on the Wireshark Development Team since 2005, Jaap contributed to the enhancement of the network traffic analyzer, particularly in VoIP protocols. Previously, Jaap served as a Software Engineer at NEC Unified Solutions and as a Senior Software Engineer for wireless applications, with earlier experience as an Embedded Software Engineer at Philips Business Communications, focusing on DECT systems. Jaap's career began as a Software Engineer at Legal & General Nederland, developing insurance quotation software, and included military service as a Lieutenant in the Royal Netherlands Navy, teaching computer technology. Jaap holds an engineering degree in Telecommunications and Computer Technology from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
