Gonzalo G. Fuentes

Gonzalo G. Fuentes has a diverse work experience in the field of material science. Gonzalo started their career in 1997 as a predoctoral fellow at the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. From 2002 to 2003, they worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research, focusing on electron spectroscopies and the modification of electronic properties of organic macromolecules. Since 2003, Gonzalo has been associated with AIN - Asociación de la Industria Navarra, where they have held various roles such as Head of the Surface Technology Department and Director of the Surface Technologies and Advanced Materials Area. During their time at AIN, Gonzalo has been responsible for coordinating research projects in surface treatment technologies and identifying new applications for industrial sectors such as Production and Tool, Decorative, Biomaterials, and Energy. Overall, Gonzalo G. Fuentes has a strong background in material science and has made significant contributions to the field throughout their career.

Gonzalo G. Fuentes completed their education in two different institutions. Gonzalo first attended the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid from 1991 to 1996, where they pursued a degree in Lc. Física (Applied Physics). After a significant gap, in 2016, they briefly attended the IESE Business School, specializing in Business Management and earning a PDD certificate.
