Lurong P. has a long and varied work experience. In 2021, they founded and became the CEO of Ainnocence, a next-generation biotech aiming to revolutionize the drug discovery and development process. In 2022, they founded and became the Director of RareAI Institute. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at the University of Alabama at Birmingham as the Director of Computational Sciences of Integrated System Center, where they conducted research in modeling of atomic and molecular systems inspired by communication theory and single atom quantum computing system. In 2014, they co-founded The 4th Dimension, LLC, a mindful recovery community. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a consultant for Ironside, developing and maintaining expertise in Data Engineering and Data Science for FT500 Clients in healthcare and other industries. Lurong P. received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Applied Chemistry from Nanjing University in 2007. Afterward, they attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham in order to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computational Chemistry, which they completed in 2013. In 2014, they took an MBA class at the University of Alabama at Birmingham - Collat School of Business, focusing on Managing Innovation. In 2015, Lurong P. began a Master's Degree in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2017.
Lurong P. also holds three certifications. In 2016, they obtained IBM Certified Data Architect - Big Data and IBM Certified Solution Developer - InfoSphere DataStage v11.3 from IBM.
