Sandi Gilbert

Sandi Gilbert is a Partner at AIoT Health and a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience in the financial technology (fintech) sector. Sandi is also the Founder & CEO of DealPoint Capital, a SaaS technology company that automates the execution of private placements in a compliant and efficient manner.

Prior to their current role, Sandi served as the CEO of InterGen, a private ScaleUp fund whose founding funders are some of Calgary’s prominent families and engaged corporations and institutions wanting to re-design, re-energize and re-invent the Calgary economy. During their tenure, they successfully deployed capital into post seed, pre-Series A companies led by extraordinary teams with proven solutions and big markets.

Before InterGen, Sandi was the Founder & CEO of Crowd Capital, the fintech company behind DealPoint. Under their leadership, the company grew to become a leading provider of private placement automation solutions.

Sandi has also served as a Board Member and Chair of the Board of Directors for the National Angel Capital Organization (NACO), where they helped to accelerate a thriving, early-stage investing ecosystem in Canada by connecting individuals, groups, and other partners that support Angel-stage investing.

Throughout their career, Sandi has been a passionate advocate for the advancement of women in leadership roles and is a strong supporter of diversity initiatives. Sandi is a regular speaker at industry events and has been featured in numerous publications, including The Globe & Mail, Financial Post, and Betakit.

Sandi Gilbert has a degree from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Executive Management. Sandi also has a certification from the IFSE Institute in Exempt Market Products Exam.
