Romans Romietis

Romans Romietis has extensive experience in procurement and administration roles. Romans started their career as a Purchasing Manager at Blumbergi in 1998, and then moved on to become the Head of the Purchasing department at Nelss in 2000. At Nelss, Romans was responsible for managing the department, optimizing stocks, and building supplier relationships. In 2002, they joined Rimi Baltic as a Baltic Category Manager, overseeing category management in three Baltic countries and supervising non-food assortments. In 2008, Romans joined airBaltic as the VP of Procurement and Administration. Most recently, in 2010, they worked as a Procurement Manager at FLS Ltd, where they unified procurement procedures, implemented e-procurement, and managed property agreements for BAS Group enterprises.

Romans Romietis earned a Master's Degree in Real Estate Management from Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University) starting in 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Finance Management from Latvijas Universitate from 1996 to 2000. Romans Romietis's secondary education was completed at Rezeknes Komercskola, where they studied Economics from 1993 to 1996.
