Matong Danny Matong is an experienced Human Resources professional with a diverse background in organizational development and project management. Currently serving as the Human Resources Manager at Air Botswana since July 2018, Matong has also held significant positions at Botswana Power Corporation, including Manager of Organisation Development and Acting General Manager of HR. Previous roles include Organisational Development and Capacity Building Advisor at Research Triangle Institute (RTI) under USAID/Botswana, and Programmes Manager at Global Fund (GFATM)/BONASO. Matong holds a Master's degree in Project Management from the University of Botswana, as well as several professional certificates from the Institute of Development Management, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Demography from the University of Botswana.

Air Botswana
Air Botswana is the country's national airline. The airline operates and maintains a fleet of four aircraft, that includes an Embraer 170 Jet, ATR42-500 and two ATR72-600 advanced turbo propeller aircrafts which operate the domestic and regional scheduled flights. The airline is implementing an ambitious new strategy that will take it into the future and become a force to reckon with regionally and internationally, with aspirations to be counted amongst Africa's top 10 airlines.
