Jim Byrnes

Jim Byrnes is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in project management and design across various industries. Currently serving as a Project Engineer at Air Comm Corporation since November 2010, Jim manages mechanical design projects while interfacing with clients and overseeing project schedules. As the Principal at Highroad Designs Inc. since 2006, Jim provides mechanical design services specializing in SolidWorks for diverse applications, including industrial machine design and product development. Previously, as the Manager of Operations at WP Manufacturing from April 2009 to September 2010, Jim oversaw operations and project execution in an injection molding environment. Jim's foundational experience as a Principal Design Engineer at Ball Aerospace from February 1981 to July 2008 encompassed all aspects of mechanical design in aerospace, from conceptualization to delivery. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University, earned between 1974 and 1978.
