Staff Sheehan is a highly experienced professional with a diverse work history. They began their career in 2004 as the Chief Executive Officer of Dream8 Inc. They later served as the Disaster Response Team member at American Medical Response from 2007 to 2009. Following this, they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at Boston College from 2008 to 2011. They then joined Yale University as a Graduate Researcher, where they worked from 2011 to 2015. During this time, they also served as the Chief Science Officer at Waste Hub from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, Staff Sheehan became a Visiting Scientist at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and later co-founded Catalytic Innovations, where they worked as the Co-Founder and Director from 2015 to 2021. In 2017, they also co-founded The Air Company, where they currently serve as the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer. In 2019, they joined Dreamers as a Scientific Advisor.

Staff Sheehan received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Mathematics from Boston College, where they attended from 2007 to 2011. Afterward, Sheehan pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Chemical Physics at Yale University from 2011 to 2015.
