Xisco Mateu

Xisco Mateu serves as the IT Manager and CTO of Telecommunications and Networking at Air Europa since January 2020, overseeing operational needs, project planning, budget management, human resources, SLA compliance, and aligning business requirements with IT solutions. Prior to this role, Xisco held key positions at Globalia from December 2005 to January 2020, including the head of the Telecommunications and Networking Department and Senior Networking and Telecommunications Engineer, where responsibilities included project leadership and team management. Earlier experience includes working as a Systems and Communications Engineer at Softec Telecomunicaciones S.L., a Support Engineer at Grupo W-Mega, and a Networks and Communications Engineer at Barcelo División Central S.L. Xisco holds a Master's degree in MDSIC (MBA + IT Management) from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universitat Ramon Llull.
