Elizabeth Benitez is an accomplished aerospace engineer with a strong background in research and development within the aerospace sector. Currently serving as a Research Aerospace Engineer at the Air Force Research Laboratory since May 2022, Elizabeth previously held the position of NRC Research Associate at the National Academy of Sciences from September 2021 to May 2022, where collaboration with AFRL took place. Earlier experience includes a role as Research Engineer I at the Georgia Tech Research Institute from January 2013 to July 2017, focusing on electronic warfare software and customer engagement. Academic credentials include a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University, an MS from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a BS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, showcasing a robust educational foundation in aerospace disciplines.
