Katherine Burzynski

Materials Engineer at Air Force Research Laboratory

Katherine Burzynski is an experienced Materials Engineer currently working at the Air Force Research Laboratory since August 2022. Prior to this role, Burzynski served as a Research Scientist at Azimuth Corporation from July 2021 to July 2022 and worked as a Student Research Associate and DAGSI Fellow at the Air Force Research Laboratory from June 2017 to June 2021. Burzynski also gained valuable experience as a Project Engineer at Pure Technologies between September 2013 and November 2016, where responsibilities included managing pipeline inspection projects with budgets ranging from $100K to $500K. Katherine Burzynski holds a PhD and MS in Materials Engineering from the University of Dayton and an undergraduate degree in Materials Engineering with a Mathematics minor from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
