Sukanta Chakraborty

Sukanta Chakraborty is a seasoned professional in the aviation engineering sector with extensive experience at Air India. Since April 2019, Sukanta has held the position of Deputy General Manager Engineering at AIR-INDIA ENGINEERING SERVICES LIMITED and concurrently serves as Senior Assistant General Manager since December 2013 and as Assistant General Manager for E-PPC at Air India Limited. Prior roles within Air India from August 1989 to December 2013 included positions as Senior Engineer and Engineer. Sukanta holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from IIEST, Shibpur, Kolkata, obtained between 1984 and 1988, and completed higher secondary education focusing on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biological Science at Serampore College from 1981 to 1983, alongside secondary education at Mahesh Sri Ramkrishna Ashram Vidyalaya from 1975 to 1981.
