John Bires

John Bires has over 30 years of experience in various roles within manufacturing and operations. John started their career at 3M Company, where they worked in multiple divisions and received several technical awards. John then moved on to roles such as Plant Manager at Osmonics and Herbalife, where they established successful small businesses and achieved top performance status. John later served as Plant Manager at Oneida Air Systems, where they implemented lean manufacturing programs and significantly improved shipping lead-times. John also worked at Parker Hannifin as a Value Stream Manager, leading production teams and managing a budget. Prior to their current role as Director of Operations at Air Innovations - Environmental Control Systems, they worked as an Operational Excellence Manager at Allied Motion Technologies, where they led continuous improvement and quality assurance functions, resulting in significant reductions in customer returns and internal defects.

John Bires holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) from the Association for Supply Chain Management in October 2022 and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Syracuse University in September 2017.
