Alexandra Mendes

Alexandra Mendes has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Alexandra started their career at EF Education First as an Administrative staff in 2012. Alexandra then worked as an Internal Auditor Junior at EDP Energias de Portugal from 2014 to 2015. Alexandra then joined Solvay in 2015 as an Operator in the Department of CICC, where they handled payments to suppliers, bank reconciliations, and the Rhodia Project. In 2017, they worked as an Accounts Payable Junior at Grünenthal Group. Alexandra later joined BNP Paribas as a Senior Manager of Operations from 2018 to 2019, where they were responsible for elaborating KPIs and data analysis. Their most recent role was at Air Liquide, where they worked as an Accounts Payable Senior and then as an Accounts Payable Team Lead. In these roles, they managed teams, conducted quality control and assurance, provided SAP support, led daily calls, and collaborated on projects and process improvements.

Alexandra Mendes has a diverse education history. Alexandra completed their Master's degree in Management and Industrial Strategy at Instituto Superior de Gestão from 2012 to 2014. In 2015, they obtained a Certification in Professional Capacity for national and international transport at ANTRAM-Lisboa. The same year, they also completed a TV-host course "Behind and in front of the chambers" at Palavras Ditas and earned an SAP Certification in Financial Accounting at Solvay. In 2014, Alexandra pursued a course in Internal Control at Universidade EDP. Additionally, they have language training in English, with a course at Oxfors School in 2012 and a course at Education First London in the same year. Alexandra also participated in an Erasmus program in Economics at Università Tor Vergata di Roma from 2011 to 2012. Finally, they obtained their undergraduate degree in Economics from Instituto Superior de Gestão, which they completed from 2009 to 2012.
