Nelson Fernandez-Pinto

Nelson Fernandez-Pinto is a seasoned machine learning professional with extensive experience in generative AI and self-driving vehicle technologies. Currently serving as a Senior ML Engineer at Air Liquide since May 2022, Nelson previously worked at Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi from October 2018 to May 2022, focusing on mid-learning behavioral modeling, computer vision, and emotion AI for autonomous vehicles. Nelson's earlier experience as a Data Scientist R&D at Axionable involved deep learning applications in computer vision, real-time video analytics, and behavioral cloning for self-driving cars. Nelson has also contributed to ML research as an intern at LIP6 and was the Founder & Chief Technology Officer at Electrical Engineering Developments, specializing in systems integration and connected devices.
