Peter Mackey's work experience spans multiple industries and roles. Peter started their career as a Chemicals Analyst at Lehman Brothers in 1992 and later worked as a Director at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson from 1994 to 2001. Peter then joined Commerzbank Securities as a Chemicals Analyst from 2001 to 2005, followed by a career break where they sailed and held various roles on the ship from 2005 to 2009. Upon returning to work, Peter served as an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley from 2009 to 2014. Peter then joined Exane as a European Chemicals Equity Analyst from 2014 to 2017. Currently, they are employed at Air Liquide as the VP Strategy & Policy Support, Hydrogen Energy since October 2020, previously holding the position of VP Investors Strategic Intelligence from 2017 to 2020.

Peter Mackey attended the London School of Economics and Political Science from 1989 to 1992, studying mathematics and economics.
