Nicholas Kuan

Nicholas Kuan is an experienced software engineer and principal engineer at Air New Zealand since September 2019, specializing in API Gateway, Kafka platforms, and WebSphere Server management. Responsibilities include migrating applications to Docker, mentoring interns, automating deployments, and maintaining security protocols. Previous roles include a developer at Geneious, where Nicholas implemented a cloud-based licensing system, and an intermediate developer at Orion Health, leading the design of a questionnaires application deployed on AWS. Nicholas also has a background in pharmacy, having worked as a pharmacist in various roles since 2011, coupled with a solid educational foundation in computer science and pharmacy from The University of Auckland.
