Dr. Jin Cao is director, Green Hydrogen Product Line, at Air Products. He is responsible for collaborating across Large Project Business Development, Technology, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and regional business organizations to ensure successful green hydrogen projects from development through execution to commercialization.
Dr. Cao joined Air Products in 2003 as a participant in the company’s Career Development Program. He subsequently held positions in HyCO operations, combustion applications development, energy technology, unconventional oil and gas, and process gases technology. In 2012, Dr. Cao relocated to Shanghai where he built a team and developed technology to support the China steel strategy. In 2020, he was named global process technology manager, Process Gases Product Line, and led a global team that supported the front-end development and process design package phases of the company’s green and blue hydrogen projects.
Dr. Cao holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from The Pennsylvania State University.
