Rachel Smith

Rachel Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the hydrogen and industrial gas sectors, currently serving as Vice President and General Manager for Air Products in Canada since May 2013. In this role, Rachel oversees the company’s operations, supply relationships, and growth strategy in alignment with Canada's energy transition goals. Previous positions include General Manager for HyCO Western Region, where responsibilities encompassed financial oversight and community relations, and Business Manager for HyCO Canada, focusing on business development and regulatory compliance. Additionally, Rachel holds board member positions at NAIT and Edmonton Global and has prior experience with Enbridge Pipelines and Suncor Energy. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Natural Resources and a Master’s in Chemical Engineering, complementing a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemical Engineering.
