Scott Symons

Scott Symons has over a decade of experience in machinery engineering with Air Products, starting as a GMM Engineering Intern in 2008 and advancing to the role of Operations Americas Machinery Engineering Manager by June 2009. As a supervisor, Scott managed an eight-member team in the Industrial Gas Operations Machinery department, focusing on team development and collaboration. In various engineering roles, Scott led engineering activities for major projects, supported the operation and troubleshooting of complex machinery, and improved reliability and efficiency in over 70 operating plants across the Americas. Scott's expertise encompasses centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, steam turbines, and related auxiliary systems, along with successful implementations of modifications and maintenance procedures. Scott holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University.
