Linda Pollack has over twenty years of experience in the food industry. Linda began their career in 1992 as an Assistant Marketing Manager at Kraft General Foods. In 1994, they were a Product Manager at Nancy's Specialty Foods, where they developed the grocery channel growth strategy for the Nancy's brand of frozen quiche and appetizers, resulting in a 40% increase in retail sales. In 1996, they became a Group Brand Manager at Sara Lee, and in 1998 they were a Marketing Manager for New Products at Foster Farms. In 2000, they moved to Fortune Brands as Director of Accessories, where they had P&L responsibility for four global business units and increased margins by 4.5 points. From 2002 to 2008 they held various roles at Safeway, including Manager of National Categories, Senior Brand Manager, and Director of Brand Marketing and Innovation. During this time, they won the 2005 NFRA Golden Penguin Award for the Ice Age promotion that drove record department sales. In 2011, they joined Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. as Vice President of Marketing and Shopper Marketing, where they had P&L responsibility for a $400MM+ business and created the Shopper Marketing function. Most recently, in 2021, they became the Vice President of Marketing at Air Protein.
Linda Pollack earned their MBA in Marketing from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business and their BA in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
