Alfreda Gipson

System Engineer at Air Traffic Engineering

Alfreda Gipson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Alfreda started their career at IBM/Loral in 1996 as a Software Programmer, where they developed and supported software for configuration management and problem management tools. Alfreda later joined MITRE in the same year as a Software Systems Engineer, where they provided data and systems architecture assessment on various targets and led test and evaluation for prototype tools at Air Traffic Control Centers. In 2013, Alfreda joined Engineering and Information Technologies, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead, holding the position until 2022. Alfreda then joined ATEC in 2016 as a System Engineer.

Alfreda Gipson pursued their education at Southern University and A&M College between 1980 and 1984, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Later, from 1994 to 1997, they attended Monmouth University and completed a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering.
