Marcus D. Shannon

Marcus D. Shannon, MA, currently serves as an active member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and is the President and CEO of Shannon Success Academy, LLC, which specializes in online tutoring and mentoring services for students in grades 3 - 8, set to open in April 2023. With extensive experience in education, Marcus has held positions as a special education teacher in multiple school districts, including Lexington School District Four and Richland School District One, along with a role as a tutor at Air Tutors. A dedicated professional, Marcus has also contributed as an instructional assistant and a corps member with Teach For America. Academically, Marcus is pursuing a Doctor's Degree in Christian Counseling and holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, along with a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
