Sophia Ghanimeh is a Research Associate Professor at Qatar University, currently serving as a representative at the Qatar National Development Strategy Task Team. With a background in civil engineering and environmental and water resources engineering, Sophia has extensive experience in solid waste management, water resources management, environmental impact assessment, and more. Additionally, Sophia holds leadership positions at ISWA International Solid Waste Association, Air & Waste Management Association, and has previously worked at Notre Dame University and the Ministry of Environment in Lebanon.
