Chris Thomas

Chris Thomas currently serves as an IT Programmer Technical Analyst and previously held the role of Supplier Quality Engineer at Air-Way Global Manufacturing Company since September 2010. In the capacity of Supplier Quality Engineer, Chris was the only direct report to the Vice President of Quality, successfully establishing a corporate quality team and executing two significant cost-saving initiatives by transitioning to a paperless system. As a former Plant Manager, Chris oversaw two facilities with numerous automatic screw and CNC machines, achieving a complete elimination of past due orders and a 28% increase in production efficiency. Chris also managed the maintenance team, implementing a preventative maintenance schedule that significantly reduced downtime. Prior to these roles, Chris was an Autobar Set Up Operator from September 2002 to September 2009, leading a team focused on maintaining and exceeding production standards across multiple machines.
