Senior Electrical Engineer, Engineering Team Lead at Air-Weigh

Andrew Meier has worked in the engineering field since 1995. Andrew began their career as an Associate Electrical Engineer at Electro Scientific Industries, Inc. in 1995. Andrew then moved to Tektronix in 1997, where they held the role of Hardware Design Engineer III. In this role, they led and collaborated with other engineers in a multidisciplinary team environment to design and launch new and redesigned oscilloscope systems, boards, and components. Andrew also consulted with customers to generate product definitions and provided post-sale support. Additionally, they expanded the product line into a new market by researching an application and designing hardware and embedded firmware drivers for an FPGA based solution. In 2010, they joined Air-Weigh as a Senior Electrical Engineer and Engineering Team Lead.

Andrew Meier holds two Bachelor of Science degrees from Oregon State University, one in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and one in Business Administration. Andrew also holds several certifications from Coursera, including Introduction to Project Management Principles and Practices Specialization (obtained in January 2018), Project Management Project (obtained in January 2018), Managing Project Risks and Changes (obtained in August 2017), Budgeting and Scheduling Projects (obtained in October 2016), and Initiating and Planning Projects (obtained in September 2016).
