Emma Kaplan

Emma Kaplan is a seasoned professional in quality assurance with extensive experience at Verisk Extreme Event Solutions since July 2017, where roles evolved from Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to Principal, Quality Assurance. Emma has a strong background in developing and implementing financial validation methodologies, coordinating with internal teams, and enacting agile processes for product releases. Prior to Verisk, Emma contributed as a Statistical Consultant for the U.S. Geological Survey, focusing on climate change impacts on maple syrup production, and worked as a Consultant at the Statistical Consulting Center at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Emma holds a Master's Degree in Statistics and a Certificate in Data Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Combined Environmental Studies and Mathematics from St. Lawrence University.
