Megan Zimmerman

Megan Zimmerman, Ph.D. is a highly experienced professional in catastrophe modeling and earthquake hazard assessment. Currently serving as a Product Manager for Catastrophe Models at Verisk since June 2016, responsibilities include driving the model development process, coordinating with multiple internal teams, and engaging with clients to gather requirements and provide support. Prior to this role, Megan was a Senior Scientist, contributing over five years to the earthquake hazard team by developing and validating earthquake catastrophe models. In addition, Megan is an Independent Travel Agent with Travelmation since October 2023. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Florida and a BS in Physics from The College of New Jersey.
