Vice President And Director Of Earthquake Engineering at AIR Worldwide

Tao Lai began their work experience at Southwest Urban Design Institute in 1988, where they worked as an Engineer until 1993. In 2002, they joined AIR Worldwide Corporation as a Geotechnical and Senior Engineer, and later held positions as a Project Manager, Principal Engineer, and Senior Principal Engineer. In 2017, they moved on to become the Vice President and Director of Earthquake Engineering at AIR Worldwide.

Tao Lai completed a post-doctoral research at the University of California at San Diego from 1999 to 2002 in the field of Geological and Earthquake Engineering. Prior to that, Tao Lai pursued a Master of Engineering degree at Tsinghua University from 1986 to 1988, specializing in Structural Engineering.
