Zhiming Zhang

Zhiming Zhang is currently a Research Engineer at Verisk, specializing in extreme event solutions since February 2022. Prior to this role, Zhiming served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Arizona State University from October 2020 to February 2022, and as a Graduate Research Associate at Louisiana State University from August 2016 to October 2020, where Zhiming focused on structural health monitoring and damage detection. Zhiming holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University (2016-2020), a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Southwest Jiaotong University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Liaoning Technical University.
