Aira
Mattias Jacobsen currently serves as the R&D Director at Aira, responsible for the research and development of heat pump systems since October 2022. Prior to this role, Mattias was the Technical Manager at IKEA from April 2019 to October 2022, overseeing technical and maintenance processes, as well as participating in the strategic development of the factory. Mattias also gained extensive experience at NIBE AB from September 2007 to April 2019, where roles included Manager of Product Improvements, Technical Product Manager, and Project Manager, managing teams and leading development projects for various heat pump systems. Earlier career efforts at Volvo Car Group included positions as Technical Manager and Task Leader, focusing on rear opening systems and various components for the XC90 project. Mattias holds an education from Halmstad University and Hässleholm Technical School.
