Gunjan Deotale has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and technology. They started their career in 2013 at Samsung R&D Institute India, where they worked on the development of algorithms for touch screen panels. During their time there, Gunjan contributed to various small solutions for projects related to rotation lock, keypad adaptation, and camera access.

In 2015, Gunjan joined Samsung Electronics as a Technical Lead. They were responsible for developing a machine learning-based technique for detecting live or fake fingerprints. Gunjan worked with data obtained from capacitive sensors and utilized image processing techniques like wavelet transform and texture-based features. They held this role until 2018.

Afterward, Gunjan became a Chief Engineer at Samsung Electronics, working on the commercialization of various projects. This included managing and working with a team for a private document detection project, as well as contributing to image classification projects for Samsung Galaxy N10, Galaxy S11, and S10 devices.

Most recently, Gunjan joined AIRA MATRIX as a Module lead/Senior Engineer in 2022, where they are currently serving.

They started their education journey in 2004 at Shri Shivaji Science College Amravati, where they completed their Higher Secondary education in Electrical and Electronics from 2004 to 2006.

From 2006 to 2010, Gunjan attended Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering and Technology, earning a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering.

Finally, Gunjan pursued their M.Tech degree in Signal Processing, Communication, and Networks from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, from 2010 to 2012.
