Sofian Akasah is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in information security and cyber strategy. Currently serving as the Head of Cyber Strategy & Architecture at AirAsia since August 2024, Sofian is responsible for developing and maintaining the organization's cybersecurity strategy, reporting directly to the Group Chief Information Security Officer. Previous roles include Senior Manager of Information Security, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing information security operations, and IT Security Freelance, specializing in vulnerability assessments and consulting. Sofian's career also includes positions in network security, technical consultancy, and cybersecurity analysis, with a strong foundation in technical management and system integration.
