Videt Jaiswal

Videt Jaiswal has a varied work experience, starting with their role as an Intern at Wishpicker.com in 2013, which was acquired by Snapdeal. Videt then founded The Custom-T in 2012, an online design-led merchandise shop that shipped over 50k units to 200+ enterprise and college clients. In the same year, they founded University Express Media, one of the largest youth media houses in India focused on Gen-Z and campus students. In 2015, they worked as a Strategy & Research professional at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Videt then moved to Elevation Capital in 2016 as an Investment Professional. In 2019, they founded Travel Tech / Airblack 1.0, which was like Airbnb, but for trip planners. Videt was helping people - mostly travel enthusiasts and creators - launch their trip planning business using their app. Videt reached ~USD 700K in annualised GMV while maintaining 2-digit dollar CACs and 4-digit dollar AOVs, until the pandemic stalled international leisure travel. In 2020, they became the Founder & CEO of Airblack.

Videt Jaiswal completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) Hons. at the Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology. Prior to that, they attended St. Peter's College, Agra, where they studied CISCE (PCM + Computer Science). Additionally, Videt Jaiswal passed the December 2015 CFA Level 1 Exam from the CFA Institute in February 2016.
